To receive your email on a PDA (Blackberry in this case) with the original sender and subject intact (so you can reply) and a copy of the same email in your notes mailfile. No code needed.

Catch #1:
Your Notes administrator will need to do the work. (But they are the good guys and gals).

Task #1
Duplicate your person document in the Domino directory changing the name in the duplicated document from John Doe to _John _Doe and removing all of the short name entries.

Task #2
Create a group in the Domino directory called EMAIL_John_Doe. Put 2 (or more) names in the group like jdoe@blackbservice.com and _John _Doe/Acme

Task #3
Change the "Forwarding Address" in the Person document in the Domino directory to be the group name you set up, which was EMail_John_Doe in my example.

That's it.

Now mail sent to John Doe will be forwarded to jdoe@blackbservice.com and _John _Doe. Since _John _Doe points to the same mail file as John Doe, the mail is delivered to John. The mail is intact and replicable from either location.

Catch #2
Since Notes substitutes the forwarding address into the To: field when the mail is sent, the group name EMail_Joe_Doe will the be displayed in email headers of recipients. This is why the group name needs to include the user's name.
