Ensure visited URL links appear

Traditionally we provide users with data through multiple views. However, if a user clicks a link in one view, it will not appear visited in another. Here's how to fix this!

Code

The url of the document will need to be manually generated in the view column. By pointing to all doc urls to the same view, the document will appear visited in all scenarios viewed on the web. Using "0" for the view will use the default view's index. Because the doc is being displayed in the view, the relative path will already contain the domain and db path, allowing you to create a simple relative URL:

This code can be pasted into the view column:
linktext := yourfieldhere; anchor:= "<a href="0/+@Text(@DocumentUniqueID)+">"+linktext+"</a>"; "["+anchor+"]"

(*Modify the value for linktext. Note: ?OpenDocument after the UNID is optional.)

This simple code change will simplify visited links for your users BIG TIME.
