This modular-design code allows you to manage attachments as if they were embedded objects. This is useful when users need a way to store an edited attachment without the need to save, manually re-attach and delete. For the users, it simulates the usual attachment popup menu with an Edit entry. With this tool you can edit many attachments at the same time, having more than one rich text field in the documents and it does not freeze Notes when editing attachments.

The method using Embedded Objects has proved to be unstable and unscalable (due to the way in which Embedded Objects are stored in Notes - a series of 8K $FILE items).
