Setting up a laptop with mail replication using a modem can take a long time. To speed this process up we replicate to a local harddrive on our network. We then burn the replicated database to CD. bar reads 5 or more out of # received we stop the replication process. We then copy the burned replica to the laptop replacing the database that is there making sure to remove any read-only attributes of the file. We then start the replication process again to ensure the replication is up to date.
