Here is a common sense tip that administrators tend to overlook, making systems vulnerable to security breaches.

Code

It is always recommended to lock your system while you are away from your office. Locking the system can be automated. Follow these steps:
  1. File -- Preferences -- User Preferences
  2. Under Basic, check mark "Logout (and lock Notes display) if you haven't used Notes for ___ minutes"
  3. Specify the minutes to lock the machine while you are away.
  4. Click OK to save the changes.
