Mail delegation in cluster environment

In Domino it is possible to delegate your mailfile to other people so that they can read or write mail or make appointments if you are not in the office. It is possible in iNotes, too. But sometimes in a cluster environment you can run into a failure.

The procedure
In Preferences you can delegate the file to others. This request is permitted to the administration process and normally will be processed very quickly on your mail home server.

The problem
If you have installed ICM and it could lead you to the other of your two cluster servers, which is not your home server. Then your request will not be processed, because the invoker of the request is not you or your home server.

A possible workaround
Deploy an agent that runs every five or 10 minutes and searches for such bad requests. Change the field where the server is named to the home server of the people and let the AdminP process the request again. You have a time lag of some minutes (the time between the agent runs), but it will wok and the request will be processed.

In R6 this is integrated in the new server code.
