To make your own area -- like in a portal frame -- where users can drag and drop any documents, database tabs, URLs, files from the operating system, etc., try this:

  1. From the bookmark.ntf in R6, open the "page layout C" form in Designer.

  2. Switch to the NotesLinks tab and copy the entire UserBookmarkOrder embedded outline into a form in another database (say your corporate portal).

  3. Display that form in a frame and open in the client.

Users should now be able to drag/drop any "bookmarkable" items into their own work area within the portal.

Please note you can't do it by just embedding the outline -- it needs to be copied from bookmark.ntf.
