What happens when you need to combine the functionality of Formula language, JavaScript or LotusScript? One way is to create hidden hotspot buttons on a form. You can call these buttons with JavaScript in both the client and the web.

Code

Let's say you have an action button that needs to use JavaScript and LotusScript.

(1)Create a JavaScript action button. Enter the JavaScript code you'd like to execute.
(2) Create a LotusScript Hotspot Button. Give the button an ID ( on the <HTML > properties tag )
(3) At the end of your JavaScript code, put this line:
document.forms[0].ButtonID.click()

You can also call the button through Formula language using:
@URLOpen("javascript: document.forms[0].ButtonID.click()")
