Another way of setting your DNS server

This tip describes another way of setting your DNS server.

This tip applies to the following conditions:

  • You get an error like DNS Resolver error on startup of SMTP Server.
  • Setting your DNS Server to be queried for SMTP Routing

Specify this .ini variable to resolve any of the above problems.
DNSSERVER=ipaddress

eg.:
DNSSERVER=202.210.210.1
This can be set from the console also by issuing
Set Configuration DNSSERVER=202.210.21.1
