Avoiding Rebooting After Notes Crash

Occasionally, Notes will crash (NT 4.0 SP3) and, when you try to launch Notes
again, it will tell you a message to the effect that Notes was not properly
shut down and you will now have to reboot your PC to launch Notes now. You can
save time by avoiding the reboot: Go instead to your NOTES\DATA directory and
delete the file ~NOTES.LCK. Now Notes will be able to launch again. If Notes
still doesn't want to launch, you will have to delete ~NOTES.LCK again (it
reappears sometimes).
