Clean Exports

If you've ever exported a Notes view into Excel, you may have found that each column in the view ends with a block character. This becomes annoying if you then have to try and get rid of them.

In the Save As Type drop-down box in Notes, choose the option Lotus 1-2-3 Worksheet. Type in the name of the file and give it a ".wk3" or ".wk4" extension (rather than the standard ".wks" or ".wk1"). You will now find you have clean data in Excel!
