Got a bunch of Domino servers and need to know which server a certain database is on? Then make
better use of the Database Catalog provided by Lotus.
Putting the same replica of the Database Catalog on all the servers in a domain makes it easy to
locate a database and determine which servers have replicas of that database. Opening the Database
Catalog on any of the servers will show you every cataloged database in the domain. To do this,
just start with one server in the domain. Put the replica of its catalog.nsf database on all the
other servers in the domain, over-writing those servers catalog.nsf files. To speed up the process,
issue the "LOAD CATALOG" command on the server's consoles and then force replication between
them.
