This will let you display a rich text field that has been captured over the Web thru a $$ViewTemplate without having to click on a document link in a view.
Create the Capture form with the RichText field on it. Also add a computed field for storing the Documents Unique ID (well call it CapID). Then Create the View and in the view only have one column. That columns formula should then read as follows.
"[script language="javascript">location.href="ViewName/" + CapID + "?opendocument"</script>]"
So whenever you access the $$ViewTemplate for that particular view over the Web it will load the first entry of the view and because it has a JavaScript redirection code in it, it will automatically redirect you to the first document in the view (using the documents unique ID).
This is very helpfull for Web sites with pages that has content that changes on a regular basis and the clients want to change it to whatever they want to and not keep it the same over a long period of time. Just remember that they cannot capture new documents cause it will take the first item in the view and direct you to that document.
