Domino and Veritas backup

This tip describes a backup method for Domino using Veritas.

If you are running Domino Server v.5.0.11 or higher and are using Veritas to backup your software, make sure that you are using SP2 of the Veritas software.

If you are using SP1 you might see your server hanging and crashing with almost no logging that will tell you what the problem is. The problem in my experience manifested itself as a HTTP server task hang.
