Formatting Web views with tables

A very simple way of formatting Web views with tables is as follows. It neither needs to enable the view property "Treat view content as HTML" nor display as view applet.

Follow these steps:

1.) Create a view.

2.) Put the following html code in the first column title.

[ <table border=1 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0>]

3.) Put the following html code in the second column title.

[<table></table>]
thats it.

4.) Preview the view in the browser. You should be seeing the view with each column value inside a cell of a table.

The parameters can be suitably modified for various needs.

Hope this helps you.
