How To Get Users Screen Resolution

Sometimes we need to show different sets of navigatiors depending on users
Screen Resolution. Here is how you can find the Screen Resolution and then
apply it to your application accordingly. You can put this script in database
PostOpen event and prompt user "Best visible in 800x600 or blah blah.." Here is
the code..
Set options to Option Explicit.

In the form declarations add:
x1 As Long
y1 As Long
x2 As Long
y2 As Long
End Type

'Note: The following declare statements are case sensitive.
Declare Function GetDesktopWindow Lib "User32" () As Long
Declare Function GetWindowRect Lib "User32" (Byval hWnd As Long, rectangle As
Rect) As Long

Create a sub as follows:

Private Sub FormLoad()
Dim workspace As New NotesUIWorkspace
Dim uidoc As NotesUIDocument
Dim R As Rect
Dim hWnd As Long
Dim RetVal As Long
Dim GetScreenResolution As String
Set uidoc = workspace.CurrentDocument
hWnd = GetDesktopWindow ()
RetVal = GetWindowRect(hWnd, R)
GetScreenResolution = (R.x2 - R.x1) & "x" & (R.y2 - R.y1)
If GetScreenResolution <> "800x600" Then
Messagebox "Your Screen resolution is " & GetScreenResolution & ".
Navigators best viewed in 800x600 resolution !", 0, "Warning: Please check
your screen resolution"
End If
End Sub
