If Lotus Notes crashes, you don't have to restart your PC anymore!

This tip describes how to make Notes crash resistant.

If Lotus Notes crashes, you don't have to restart your PC anymore! Just run nKill.exe and allow it to clean up what Notes left behind so you can restart Lotus Notes. nKill.exe works on Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP. It does not have any GUI, so it can be used in a batch file without user interaction. Just put two lines into the batchfile

c:notesnkill.exe
c:notesnotes.exe

and star your client via the batch. nkill.exe even terminates all task of a crashed Domino server.

For WinNT PSAPI.DLL is needed. The file is included in the zipfile. Even sourcecode is included !

You can download the tool from http://www.eknori.de/tips/nkill.htm

If you like it and want to give me a brief feedback, pls. write to webmaster@eknori.de
