Tip

Launch Two or More Notes Clients Concurrently

I think everyone should know that you can install two or more versions of Notes Client on the same machine by installing onto a different directory and have a different Notes.ini for each installation.

But do you know that you can even launch these clients concurrently? The advantage of this is to allow you to access to different Notes domains (not cross-certified) without switching location and id file.

The trick is instead of calling Notes using Notes.exe, use nlnotes.exe

1st shortcut: D:\notesr457\nlnotes.exe =D:\notesr457\notes.ini

2nd shortcut: D:\notesr5\nlnotes.exe =D:\notesr5\notes.ini

3rd shortcut: D:\notesr463\nlnotes.exe =D:\notesr463\notes.ini
