Make Sure Your Script Created Documents Can Merge Conflicts!

You're a friendly developer and have thoughtfully clicked on the Form option to
"Merge replication conflicts." However, if you are creating new documents with
this form from LotusScript, you have an exposure! Documents created from
LotusScript don't "know" anything about the form except what you the programmer
tell it. This is obvious for computed fields, but not so obvious for form
properties such as "Merge replication conflicts." To be totally covered, and
to get the desired conflict coverage from the very first human based document
edits, simply add a doc.$Conflicts = "1" to the new document before saving it.
