Open to a Form Using @functions

Open to a Form Using @functions

Ever want a Notes DB to open and exit from a form without opening a view? Here is a simple work around that appears to open a form directly.

In the PostOpen of the DB Script area, add these two lines:

@Command([FileCloseWindow]);
@PostedCommand([Compose];"formname")

The database will actually open in the default view. Close that view and then compose the form. Since the view is not open in the background, an Esc will close the form and the Db.

I built a couple of quick utilities using this formula.
