Quickly Align Text To The Left In Mail Memos.

Ever get those email messages that scroll off to the right to infinity and
beyond? This simple modification to the email template will allow a
single-click to align the text of the message to the left!
You have to modify the email template to do this. (I recommend testing this
procedure before you implement it to production.)

1. In the mail template, create a shared action called "Tools\Align Text Left".

2. The properties for this action are:
Display:
Position: 24
Include action in Button Bar (selected)
Graphic: (custom)
Location: Left
Image: act_TOOLS.gif

Hide Action:
from Web Browsers
Hide When:
Previewed for Reading
Previewed for Editing
Opened for Editing

3. The R5 formula:

@Command([EditDocument]);
@Command([EditSelectAll]);
@Command([TextAlignLeft]);
@Command([EditTop]);
@Command([FileSave])

4. Now close and save all that.
5. Edit the forms "Memo", "Reply", and "Reply with History".
For each form, click in the Actions pane to give it focus, then choose
"Create", "Insert Shared
Action", then select the Action you just created.
Close and Save everything...

The design task will update the users mail dbs with the change.

That's it, your done!

For R4 mail templates, just create an action in the same manner for each form,
and use this formula:

@Do(
@Command([EditDocument]) ;
@Command([EditGotoField];"Body") ;
@Command([EditSelectAll]) ;
@Command([TextAlignLeft]);
@Command([EditTop]);
@Command([FileSave])
)
