Restart Domino on Windows 2000 without reboot

This tip describes a procedure for restarting Domino without rebooting Windows 2000.

You ever had the problem when the Domino 6 server crashed and leaves some "zombie" threads back? The server itself can't be restarted. Here's a solution:

Open a CMD file on the server, then switch to the Domino directory and start NSD.

There you can enter "kill" and "yes".

The tasks that are open will be killed and you can restart your domino server without rebooting your OS.
