Save Last Open View In A Frame.

Save Last Open View In A Frame.

You can simulate the option of database property - When opened in the Notes
client (Restore as last viewed by user) option but stil open your favorite
frameset and open your last used view when you open your database.
Write this script in one of your most used libraries (Say CommonLib ):

Sub SaveLastView ( uiview As notesUIview )
const Profilename$ = "MyProfile"
const fnLastView$ = "LastViewName"
dim db as notesdatabase
dim profile as notesdocument
'
Set db = uiview.view.Parent
Set profile = db.GetProfileDocument ( ProfileName )
call profile.ReplaceItemValue ( fnLastView, uiview.View.Name )
Call profile.Save ( True, False )
End Sub

For each view opens in your frame:
In declaration section put:
Use "CommonLib"

On postopen event put:
Call SaveLastView ( Source )

In your frame properties box set Named element, select view then click the
formula button to open the formula dialog and write the following:

LastView := @GetProfileField("MyProfile"; "LastViewName");
DefaultView := "MyFirstViewName";
@If(LastView = ""; DefaultView; LastView)

Now go a head
