Schedule Your Out Of Office Agent

Change your "Out of Office" agent so it will run on a schedule more than once a
day.
In Notes R5 the "Out of Office" agent defaults to run once a day, at 01:00 AM.
If you don't have hundreds of employees who use this feature at the same time,
you may want it to run throughout the day. This would hopefully cut down the
amount of email messages arriving for those that are out of the office.

You may want to make the change in the R5 mail template, if you let that
template update mailbox databases each night (which is the default). That way
it will be more of a permanent change - except you will have to remember to
make the change for each new release you install.

To make the change you have to open the mailbox template (mail50.ntf) in
Designer. Go to the agents and double click on the OutOfOffice agent.

Under the "When should this agent run ..." selection it will say "On Schedule
Daily." Change that to "On Schedule More Than Once A Day." Then click on the
Schedule button and fill in the Schedule information as appropriate.

Save your changes. After databases are updated overnight, any Out of Office
agents enabled from that point on, will follow your run schedule.
