Ask any Domino administrator about security and they would certainly express concerns, especially if their Domino server is exposed to the Internet. Too often Domino servers simply are not secure.
Even if database 'browsing' is turned off, the ACL controls whether you can directly type in a URL of 'Host/db.nsf'. The two most common databases left open are log.nsf and catalog.nsf. That's primarily because they are set up automatically, and many Domino administrators neglect to check the ACL of these databases. If you need a secure environment, be certain to check these and other commonly referenced databases on your site.
