Have you ever filled up a table and then had to move several items within it after the fact? Instead of painstakingly using copy and paste, you can use Ctrl and the up and down arrows.
By submitting your personal information, you agree that TechTarget and its partners may contact you regarding relevant content, products and special offers.
For instance, to move a whole row up a level, select the entire row, hold Ctrl and tap the up arrow. The selected row will change places with the one above. This also works for single or multiple cell selections, as long as the cells aren't merged. Unfortunately, the right and left arrows do not have the same effect.
This tip will work in both R6 Client and R6 Developer. It could save you a lot of time and potential errors, particularly with complicated table layouts!
