Today's Admin tip comes from our own SearchDomino.com community. Oliver Stucke is one of the founders of Analytek Systemhaus in Hademar, Germany. He is a CLP Domino R5 system administrator with experience in R4-to-R5 migration, implementing the Domino infrastructure, server and client rollouts, and clustering.
Starting the Domino Administrator on a server:Sometimes it's helpful to have the Domino Administrator on the server, but you don't want to install them. There is a switch: Create a shortcut from the nlnotes.exe and add in the destination-Field "adminonly" behind the nlnotes.exe separated by a space.
For example:Your server is installed in the Directory d:LotusDomino so the Shortcut would have to be: D:LotusDominonlnotes.exe adminonly
