Suppressing dialog box while closing window with JavaScript

While closing the window using JavaScript, confirmation message box pops up. This will not happen if the window is a parent window.


Refer the current window as a parent window and then try closing that as follows.

parent.opener = top; parent.close()

This will suppress the confirmation pop up.
