Rules:
- Tips are tallied after the last day of every month. The winning tip of the month is based on the highest average rating (as rated by registered SearchDomino.com users), the number of votes and final assessment by our panel of editors and experts.
- Only tips submitted by registered users of SearchDomino.com will become eligible for tip of the month. There is no limit to the number of tips a user can submit for any given month's contest.
- A tip will become eligible for tip of the month when it has received a minimum of three unique user ratings.
- A tip can be tip of the month only once, after which it is no longer eligible.
- A registered user may be awarded a tip of the month grand prize only three times per calendar year, after which they are no longer eligible for the rest of that year. If the grand prize winner for any given month has already won three times that year, they will still receive first place status, but the prize will go to the second place winner.
- Any registered SearchDomino.com user may vote for any given tip only once.
- The average rating for a tip is calculated once a day. Each submitted rating will be incorporated into the overall rating the following day.
- If it costs more than $20 to ship the grand prize, as is sometimes the case if the first place winner lives outside of the United States, then that person will receive a $100 American Express gift cheque in the mail or a PayPal e-payment in the amount of $100 as an alternate prize.
