A simple way of setting up an agent to send an e-mail every 2 months?

1. In R5, Is there a simple way of setting up an agent to send an e-mail every 2 months? Every attempt I have made using simple actions, formula language or LotusScript seems to require multiple agents with convoluted logic.
You don't need more than one agent. Schedule it to run monthly, and add logic to the agent to check what month it is and skip on out of there if it's not the right month. For instance, a macro agent set to run monthly on the 5th might send mail only in odd-numbered months with a formula such as: @If(@Modulo(@Month(@Today); 2) = 1; @MailSend("Contributors List"; ""; ""; "Submission reminder"; "Submission deadline is in five days ? please don't forget to PUB YOUR ISH!"; ""); "" ) In LotusScript, you can use the equivalent expression Month(Today) Mod 2 to tell whether this is an odd-numbered month. For odder intervals, e.g. on the first and third Tuesdays of every month, run the agent daily or weekly and write similar logic to test whether today is the right day. If your agent is processing new and changed documents since its last run, you should use LotusScript, so you can save unprocessed documents for the next run by simply failing to call NotesSession.UpdateProcessedDocument.
