Add name to HEAD content

I've created a Web form that has JavaScript field validation and is saved two ways from the Web using buttons.

The Save as Draft button saves a partial document with no field validation. The Submit button saves a complete document and runs field validation.

I have a field defined on the form called SaveType that is text, editable and has a default value of "", no translation formula and no validation formula.

In the onClick event of the Save as Draft button I have the following code:

 doVal(document.forms[0], false);

The save occurs correctly but the SaveType field is not set to "Draft."

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

Is the code in the HEAD section of the document?

Not knowing what the page looks like, verify that the form is the [0] form on the page. If it isn't, you can add a name to the HEAD content of the form so you can use the formname rather than forms[0].
