Adhoc reporting on Notes/Domino info

What do you feel is the best way to take a large amount of information from Notes/Domino and give users the ability to do adhoc reporting? We are looking at LEI, XML, LSDO-LSX, etc. and no one can give me a good answer to this question. I really just want biggest bang for my buck AND short learning curves.
Short answer is "D) None of the above". Take a look at a true reporting tool like Seagate Crystal Reports. SCR will "sit" on your Notes databases and provide the kind of adhoc reporting users typically want.
