Mike Thanks for your wisdom in providing answers. Those of us with little admin experience appreciate it! On to my question, we are in the midst of a migration to R5.0.11 and server consolidation. All of the files have been replicated to our new server from 4.6 servers. This particular problem revolves around 'forcing' people to archive their mail files. We have dozens with files over 700 meg. People are afraid to do native archiving w/Notes because of past bugs. Do you know of a safe and fairly simple archiving procedure to publish to my user community?
You really need to convince them that it isn?t so terrible. I would wait until the clients are on R5. That will help your cause. Other than that, you need to get management backing to force people. Changing behavior is not an easy thing to do. It normally requires some nudging from people in charge.
