Call a function in another Notes database

Is it possible for a function in one Notes database to call a function in another database? For example, if I want my PostOpen event in bookmark.nsf to run a function in a database on an application server, can I do this? I would like to keep one central repository of functions and client config code in one database on the network and not have to update the local bookmark template every time I want to add or change code. I want clients to point to one central source, but how?
No, but you will be able to in Notes R6.
