Can I use PHP to change tables in MySQL DB running off Domino?

This person wants to know they can use PHP to create direct access between a Linux server and a Domino database (MySQL) so that they can delete and change the tables in the database.

We have just installed Domino 6.52 on a Linux server. I am new to Domino. I want to use the PHP scripting language to create direct access from the Linux server to the Domino database (MySQL), so that I can delete, change and transfer tables in the database. Is this possible?
Yes, it is possible. Yes, it's possible, and you have a lot of different integration possibilities. Obvious choices are Java using CORBA, ODBC and JDBC. Even COM. I found a sample where someone accessed a database on a Domino server using Microsoft COM.
