Microsoft doesn't have any tools that can match Domino's flexibility. You cannot easily port Domino apps to MS products. If your new company insists you move to Exchange/IIS/VB/.NET/Sharepoint/SQL/etc., then you need to have them rewrite your existing apps. As for mail, there are plenty of tools that will migrate your mail files, so you won't lose that data. Fight the fight if you can, but in the end, you will have to do what you new parent wants.
