Can Notes R5 e-mail and DBs coexist with Microsoft?

We have just been purchased by another company that is exclusive Microsoft. We have our e-mail and have developed databases in our Notes R5. Do I have any options to co-exist with MS or will I have to scrap all our databases?
Microsoft doesn't have any tools that can match Domino's flexibility. You cannot easily port Domino apps to MS products. If your new company insists you move to Exchange/IIS/VB/.NET/Sharepoint/SQL/etc., then you need to have them rewrite your existing apps. As for mail, there are plenty of tools that will migrate your mail files, so you won't lose that data. Fight the fight if you can, but in the end, you will have to do what you new parent wants.
