Can a Domino 6.5 server replicate mail from a POP3 server?

Is it possible to set up a Domino 6.5 server to replicate mail from an ISP POP3 mail server on a scheduled basis? Some very small businesses would like to have an "in house" Domino environment for private apps.
I am not aware of any way to do this, as the Domino server is not a POP3 client. This can only be accomplished via the Notes client.
