Can a group function also appear on individual schedules?

Some sections in our agency are using the Lotus Notes group scheduling function but individuals would also like to use the individual scheduling function. I was asked whether it is possible to integrate the two functions so that, for example, when a group function was scheduled it would show up on both a group schedule and the participants' individual schedules without requiring double entries.

Thank you in advance for any help that you may be able to provide (or to lead me in the right direction/provide links).
I don't know of a way to avoid this. If you send an invite to a group calendar, it is only for that group calendar name, per se. To get it on an individual's calendar would require inviting that person. Frankly, the old method of group calendars (setting up a person record for a calendar file) is cumbersome. I much prefer to have people use the R5 group calendar viewing feature. It allows you to view calendars of people you place in groups, so that all invites can go to individuals. If you choose to keep the old group calendars, then I guess you could write an agent to look at new entries and then have that agent write appointments on people's individual calendars. However, meeting changes/cancellations will be a chore to fix. I wouldn't recommend this.
