A user wants to know if the creation date (@created data) of a Lotus Notes document can be modified.

Is it possible to modify or change the creation date (@created data) of a Lotus Notes document?
The creation date cannot be changed -- it is actually part of the document's ID. However, you can create another field to serve similar purposes if you need to change the value.
