Can input validation be performed on a computed field?

Is there a way to do input validation on a computed field?
Yes and no. You can't put the validation on the field itself, but you could check for the contents in the QuerySave or WebQuerySave event, which is a fairly common way of doing validations. Then you could have all your validations in one place, and you will be able to prompt the user for more than one field that has an error in one go.
