Can you remove flat certificates from an ID programmatically?

Is there any way to remove a flat certificate from an ID file programmatically (e.g., using LotusScript or @Functions)? Each ID in our organization has one flat certificate that we'd like to remove by sending users a button that they can press to delete it, rather than getting them to go through File -> Tools -> UserID.
I am not aware of any way to do this programmatically. I also did a search of the Notes C API functions and didn't find anything here either.
