Change sort order of view

I have a view with documents categorized by counterparty (customer) and sorted alphabetically. The totals are calculated for each category.

I would like to change the sort order of the view to display the category with the highest value (summed for all docs within the category) to the lowest. Is that possible?

I had to do something similar in a daily report. What we ended up doing was creating a list of the categories and the number of entries in each, sorting the list by the number of entries, and then creating a document that listed the categories in volume order with a detail of the entries under each category.
