If I incorrectly enter the URL to a database on our Domino servers, I get the message:
"Error 404 HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - File does not exist" followed by "Lotus-Domino Release 5.x + Quickplace 2xxxxxxxxx.xx"
Is there any way to suppress this information?
Yes. You want to use a DOMCFG.NSF file to customize how Domino responds to error conditions. For full information, see Domino 5 Administration Help (the built-in help file), go to the Index view, then find DOMCFG. You will see everything you need to know.
Also, be sure to suppress the hidden banner that displays the same information, by setting DominoNoBanner=1 in the server's NOTES.INI file.
