Create fields on the fly for input in a form

This question is regarding Domino Development. I want to create a set of fields on the fly for input in a form if the user clicks an action button. This may be done more than once in a given form. How do I do this? How about the conflicting names and Form validation?
Based on my understanding of your question, if you are attempting to do this in a Notes client application, this will be very difficult if not impossible? You could try to create multiple computed subforms, but this would be a slow and cumbersome approach? On the web, this is fairly simple, you can create a LotusScript or Java agent that dynamically generates the HTML for the page. I use this particular approach all the time.
