Also, is it possible to configure permissions in such a way that the Microsoft Word document saved in the Lotus Notes database as an attachment cannot be saved on the local drive or printed?
I'm 99% sure you cannot prevent a user who can see the file from downloading or printing it -- at least not within Lotus Notes. You might be able to make the file read-only and print-resistant before you attach it, but that's another question altogether.
