Customizing font properties

I'd like to set the font face, size, and color that is used for the text that's entered into an input box on the web. I've tried setting these properties using Notes, HTML, and the browser's font settings, and nothing seems to have any affect. I seem to be stuck with whatever Domino wants me to have.
I do not know of any built-in method for modifying the font attributes of a data-entry field used in a browser. Outside of creating your own Java applets to capture the data, there is no way in Notes Field definitions or special HTML tags in Notes, nor with Passthru HTML because the TextArea tag has no color attribute.
