Q

@DBLookup limits

@DBLookup limits seem to be ever an increasing challenge for me, especially when using the address book. In particular, I'd like to be a to validate if a name is found in the address book as some users may not wait for the lookup feature of a name field.

This application is R4.5 and in used on the Notes client in this aspect.

Any suggestions on how to handle this?

I don't know why a limit of @DBLookup would be affecting you. If you are using a username as a key, there should be no "limitation" problem as long as you have a view set up that has an appropriate sorted column to use as a key index.
