Q

Desktop policy link problems and names.nsf

My customer recently used a desktop policy to create a link to a help desk database. It work for the first time, but after she modified something and reapplied, the link didn't work. How could this happen?

Does the desktop policy allow us to create a link to a names.nsf? I heard that we need to rename the names.nsf in order for it to work. Is that true?
I am not aware of any problem with putting names.nsf as a bookmark. Other than that, be sure to read Domino Admin R6 Help / Index / Desktop Policy Settings / Creating to make sure you have done everything correctly.
