I want to create a dialog box where the user is able to give some names and the script looks for the names in the official address book. I already have the form for the dialog box, but I want to use it in a view with an action-button. The dialog box should pop up, the user fills in the names, and the script fills the names in the chosen documents. Thanks for your help.
Not too difficult a task, but too much code for me to write in a simple answer. Here it is, basically...
Grab a NotesUIWorkspace Object, Get a NotesDocumentCollection that represents the docs That the user has selected in your view Bring up your DialogBox and your form, When you pass the argument from that form back to your script, open names.nsf on the current server and perform either NotesDatabase.Search or keyword get(s) to create a NotesDocumentCollection. Create an Array from the NotesDocumentCollection. Use StampALL METHOD TO ADD THE NEW ARRAY TO THE ORIGINAL COLLECTION
