In a person's location document, in the Internet Mail Address field you can put in a display name so that it appears nicer to recipients. For example, "David Smith"
My problem is that this setting seems to get overwritten during the day sometime. I don't know what causes it, but it will always revert back to just email@example.com, no matter how many times I change it. I have even edited the PNAB and made the field computed with the value hard coded in there but it STILL gets overwritten, do you know what causes that? It is extremely frustrating.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated. I am running Notes 5.012.
This value is set in the configuration document of the server. You need to go to the MIME -- Advanced -- Advanced Outbound Message Options tab. Change the RFC822 Phrase handling field to the value you want. Common name usually suffices.
